San Roque Golf & Resort is an 18-hole championship course located in Sotogrande on Spain's Costa del Sol, designed by Perry Dye in collaboration with golfing legend Severiano Ballesteros. Spanning 45 hectares of meticulously sculpted terrain adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and a protected natural reserve, the course offers spectacular ocean views and challenging Mediterranean landscape conditions.

The course is characterized by technical difficulty combined with striking natural beauty, featuring numerous bunkers, water hazards, and elevation changes throughout. Notable holes include the par-5 7th with impressive sea views from the tee, the demanding par-4 9th with a lake hazard, and several signature holes showcasing Dye's trademark strategic bunker placement. The design balances risk-reward opportunities with courses ranging from 259 to 513 yards across varying tee positions.

San Roque has hosted prestigious tournaments including the 2006 Spanish Open and multiple European Tour Qualifying School finals, establishing its reputation as an iconic European golf destination. The course presents a comprehensive test suitable for players of all skill levels, with each hole offering distinct challenges and visual appeal.
