Salinas Fairways Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect Jack Fleming in 1957. Located in California's Salinas Valley between the Gabilan Hills to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, the course offers scenic views across fertile agricultural terrain. The course underwent a comprehensive redesign and renovation in 1998, which included investment in new irrigation systems, lakes, practice facilities, and improved infrastructure.
Recognized as one of Northern California's finest municipal courses, Salinas Fairways is praised for excellent greens and overall conditioning while maintaining affordable green fees comparable to private country clubs. The facility includes a full-service practice range, practice green, PGA-staffed golf shop, and on-site dining through Cotton's Café. Managed by Sierra Golf Management in partnership with the City of Salinas, the course is known for its value and playability. The course has hosted tournaments including the Salinas Valley Amateur Championship.
