Sakura Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located in Yamato, Gifu Prefecture, within the Hida-Kiso River National Park. Designed by Tetsuo Akaba, the course is characterized as a hilly, woodland layout that integrates into the natural landscape. The front nine holes span 3,185 yards, while the back nine covers 3,295 yards. The course presents distinct challenges across its two nines. The front nine features greens that are cleverly guarded by bunkers, demanding precise approach shots. In contrast, the back nine is flatter and wider, offering longer distances that require players to manage the middle section of the round effectively to maintain their scores. The layout includes a variety of hole lengths, with the longest being the par-5 18th at 503 yards and the shortest the par-3 11th at 149 yards. The course is designed to accommodate players of varying skill levels, allowing them to enjoy the game according to their abilities while navigating the natural terrain.
