Sakaide Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course that opened in June 1993. Designed by Anzo Kaneko and Taibon Gumi, it features a rolling hill layout with broad, flat-designed holes that emphasize strategic play. The course is characterized by 10 scenic water hazards and 78 strategically positioned bunkers integrated throughout the layout.
The course measures 3,442 yards (par 36) on the front nine and 3,286 yards (par 36) on the back nine from the championship tees, totaling 6,728 yards at par 72. All greens are bentgrass with one putting surface per hole, featuring undulating contours that enhance strategic complexity. The course offers multiple tee options accommodating varying skill levels, with the front nine (Shirosagio/White Course) favoring distance hitters and the back nine (Ayagawa/In Course) suited to accuracy-focused players.
Notable amenities include a 250-yard driving range with 13 bays, practice bunker, two putting greens, and a Royal Room facility for groups. The course typically operates with caddies, though self-play is available. Located near the Fuchu-ko Service Area on the Takamatsu Expressway, Sakaide Country Club hosts regular member tournaments and visitor competitions throughout the year.
