Manno Hills Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Mannou, Sanuki District, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. The course was designed by Shigeru Okubo and opened on October 4, 1996. It spans a total area of 1,261,624 square meters and features a total length of 6,850 yards from the championship tees, with a par of 72. The layout includes four sets of tees for each hole, accommodating championship, blue, white, and gold tees, and plays on Bentgrass One greens with an average size of 700 square meters. The course is characterized by strategic design elements that challenge golfers of varying skill levels, from average players to single-digit handicappers. The front nine begins with a gentle downhill par-4 that offers a wide fairway for powerful shots, while the back nine presents a mix of demanding par-4s and par-5s. The par-5 holes are particularly notable, with the sixth hole being the longest at 525 yards from the championship tees. This hole is known for its strategic complexity, featuring crater grass bunkers, fairway bunkers, and guard bunkers surrounding the green. The course also features two par-5 holes on the back nine, including the 15th at 516 yards and the 18th at 513 yards. A distinctive feature of the course is the eighth hole, a par-3 that is the shortest on the layout at 177 yards from the championship tees. The tee box is constructed with stone walls, providing a unique aesthetic, while the green is protected by bunkers, making it a deceptive challenge despite its length. The 18th hole serves as a strong finishing hole, a 513-yard par-5 with a slight dogleg to the right. The approach shot is played toward a stone wall structure designed to resemble the walls of Kotohira Castle, requiring precision to avoid front bunkers for a successful hole-out. Manno Hills Country Club is equipped with a two-story reinforced concrete clubhouse designed by Taikisha, offering a members' salon, restaurant, and competition rooms. The facility includes two practice greens and a driving range with 12 bays extending to 200 yards. All rounds are played with caddies, and five-person electric induction carts are available for use. The course is situated in a setting that emphasizes the natural landscape of the Sanuki region, with views and terrain that change across the holes to provide a varied playing experience.
