Sagami Country Club

Sagami Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Designed by Rokuro Akahoshi, the course was established in the early Showa period on the previously barren Sagami plains. The designer famously expressed that the course realized his "dreams and ideals."

The course features several signature holes, including Holes 4, 8, 10, and 18, which are highlighted as notable elements of the layout. Bunkers are a defining characteristic of Sagami, recognized as among Japan's most challenging. The course presents considerable difficulty through its strategic bunkering and hole design.

Operating continuously for over 90 years, Sagami Country Club has developed into an exclusive members' club known for fellowship and tradition. The facility includes a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and post-round dining options. The course maintains strict dress codes and etiquette standards to preserve its character and playing experience.
