The Royal Pekan Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia. The layout is set within a natural landscape featuring water hazards, bunkers, and trees that provide a challenging test for golfers of varying skill levels. The course is managed by Majlis Daerah Pekan and is situated in a setting that includes lakes and ponds. The club was founded in 1965 by the late Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah, the Sultan of Pahang. The course was designed by the renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., who intended the layout to challenge experienced players while offering scenic views of the surrounding area. The club was granted its royal title in 2006. Royal Pekan Golf Club has hosted significant events, including the Malaysian Open and the World Amateur Golf Championship. The facility includes a clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, pro shop, and locker rooms, as well as a driving range, practice greens, and a golf academy. Additional amenities on site include a swimming pool, gymnasium, and recreational areas such as a snooker room and karaoke lounge.
