The Ridge at Back Brook is an 18-hole golf course in Ringoes, New Jersey, featuring 7,215 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2002. The course has a rating of 76.9 and a slope rating of 145. Located northeast of Princeton on a property with 150 feet of natural elevation change, Fazio made minimal landscaping alterations while reshaping fairways for visibility and flow. The front nine sits in a valley formed by Back Brook, while much of the back nine is on a plateau high above the front nine, with rock outcroppings prominent throughout the course, including a massive one on the par-5 seventh and an 80-foot vertical cliff providing a backdrop to the par-3 eighth.

The Ridge at Back Brook is an exclusive golf-only club featuring extensive clubhouse and practice facilities, with the specific goal of having no residences, pools, or tennis courts. In 2010, Golf World Magazine's Readers Choice Awards ranked The Ridge the 8th Best Private Course in the USA. The fairways are typical Fazio fairways—wide and fair—but require accurate play, as missed fairways mean playing from rough with quick, undulating greens protected by bunkers. The 300-plus acre property includes red rock outcroppings, streams, ponds and elevation changes throughout.
