Richmond County Country Club features a championship 18-hole golf course located in the Dongan Hills area of Staten Island, New York. The course has deep historical roots, with golf first introduced to the club in 1894 when three English members designed an initial 9-hole layout. Following the club's relocation to its present Dongan Hills location in 1897, a second 9-hole course was constructed, forming the current 18-hole championship layout. The course offers picturesque views of New York Harbor and the surrounding landscape. As New York City's only private country club, Richmond County has maintained continuous operation since 1888 and is home to one of American golf's oldest medals in continuous competition, awarded since 1895 during the club championship qualifying round. The club combines its golf facilities with state-of-the-art amenities including a fitness center, aquatic facilities, and tennis courts, serving as a premier private golf and country club destination.
