Ria Bintan Golf Club

Ria Bintan Golf Club is located on Bintan Island in Indonesia's Kepulauan Riau province, overlooking the South China Sea. The resort features two courses designed by legendary golfer Gary Player: the award-winning 18-hole Ocean Course and a 9-hole Forest Course. The Ocean Course unfolds along the coastline, offering distinctive ocean views and challenges. The Forest Course winds through mature woodlands, featuring various bunkers and fairways that test players' skills. Established in 1998, Ria Bintan has been consistently ranked among Asia's top golf destinations and best courses in Asia and Indonesia. The club hosted numerous regional events, including the annual Ria Bintan Open. In 2009, it became Indonesia's first golf course to receive Audubon International Certified Classic and Cooperative Sanctuary certification, recognizing its environmental stewardship and wildlife conservation commitment. Gary Player himself has ranked the courses among his top 10 favorites from over 300 courses he has designed.
