Riverview Golf Club is an 18-hole public course located in Redcliff, Alberta, situated just northwest of Medicine Hat. The 7,100-yard layout plays to a par of 71 and overlooks the South Saskatchewan River valley. The course is set in a scenic landscape characterized by canyon views and is known for its fast greens and occasional wildlife encounters. The course has a history spanning more than fifty years, beginning as a nine-hole facility run by volunteers with rough grass fairways and sand greens. The front nine was modernized in 1981 through a joint effort by local members and the Town of Redcliff, and the back nine was completed in 1990 to create the current 18-hole layout. Riverview Golf Club offers a family-friendly environment with amenities including a practice putting green, a chipping area, and six-stall hitting cages. A licensed clubhouse provides both indoor and outdoor dining options, and the facility includes a pro shop stocked with equipment and apparel. The course is designed to be accessible and flattering to casual golfers while providing a fun challenge for players of all skill levels.
