Raleigh Golf Association is one of North Carolina's oldest public golf courses, established in 1929 and located minutes from downtown Raleigh. The facility features 27 holes total, with 18 holes open to the public and 9 reserved for members, stockholders, leagues, and tournaments. The course is designed to be walker-friendly and welcomes golfers of all skill levels.

Currently undergoing significant renovation, RGA is partnering with McConnell Golf on a $3.5 million improvement project led by acclaimed architect Kris Spence. This comprehensive renovation includes a complete course redesign and construction of a new, state-of-the-art driving range and teaching center. The project aims to modernize the facility while maintaining its accessibility and public golf tradition. These enhancements position RGA as a contemporary destination for recreational and competitive golf in the Raleigh area.
