Rackham Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Hunting Woods, Oakland County, Michigan, near Detroit. Designed by renowned architect Donald Ross and established in 1924, it ranks among Ross's ten best public golf courses. The course was developed on land donated by the Rackham family with the intention of providing public access to quality golf.

Rackham serves golfers of all skill levels and is notable for its historical significance as the home course of Ben Davis, the United States' first golf professional of African descent. The course has also attracted notable visitors including boxer Joe Louis. As the most successful public golf course in Detroit, Rackham generates approximately $1 million in annual revenue, accounting for nearly half of the revenue produced by Detroit's four public courses and effectively supporting the maintenance of other municipal courses.

The course features challenging terrain characteristic of Donald Ross designs. While it remains popular with a loyal local following, the facility has faced maintenance challenges including irrigation system concerns and deferred upkeep on turf, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Despite these issues, the course continues to demonstrate underlying quality and attracts dedicated golfers throughout the Detroit area.
