Providence Golf Club

Providence Golf Club is a public golf facility located in South Richmond, Virginia, at 1160 S. Providence Road. The course has a notable history, with the original layout on the Pocoshock Creek property closing in 1985. The current course was developed by a new team that purchased the original property along with an adjacent parcel, resulting in an expanded layout. Six new holes were added on the additional acreage, while the original Pocoshock area was redesigned with longer, more spacious holes to modernize the course. The facility includes a driving range and short game practice area, supporting both recreational play and instruction. As a full-service public facility, Providence Golf Club accommodates various needs including outings, tournaments, and golf instruction, making it a comprehensive option for golfers in the South Richmond region.
