POTTGOLF Oberhausen features two contrasting 9-hole courses located on the grounds of the former Jacobi coal mine in the Ruhr region. The main course is a par 35 layout with five par 4s, three par 3s, and one par 5, offering varied playing conditions for both beginners and handicap golfers. The facility also includes a shorter 9-hole course, which holds the distinction of being Germany's shortest regulation golf course. Set within a challenging former industrial landscape, the courses were developed on difficult soil conditions that have been transformed into a green urban oasis. The facility provides comprehensive training infrastructure, including a spacious driving range with numerous grass tees and covered bays with floodlighting, plus dedicated putting, chipping, and pitching areas. Located centrally in Oberhausen with ample free parking, the course is accessible yet offers seclusion through scenic walking paths that accompany players throughout their rounds. Dogs on leads are permitted, and the venue operates as a public golf facility with beginner-friendly options alongside competitive play opportunities.
