Potchefstroom Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course established in March 1908, making it one of South Africa's historic clubs. The course was developed from swampland surrounding the Mooi River through drainage initiatives, transforming the area into what became known as the Meadows. This transformation was pioneered by T.G. Macfie, the Assistant Resident Magistrate of Potchefstroom.

The club is situated in Potchefstroom and operates seven days a week, offering golf carts and an on-site golf shop. The course features a halfway house for player refreshment. The club has hosted significant tournaments, including the Premier IPT event in 2002.

Beyond golf, Potchefstroom Country Club functions as a comprehensive sporting facility, featuring three squash courts, two bowling greens, and four tennis courts. The venue includes a bar and kitchen known as the 19th Hole, as well as function facilities for events and conferences. The club recently expanded its offerings to include paddle tennis, reflecting its commitment to modern sporting amenities while maintaining its heritage as a traditional country club.
