Platteville Golf and Country Club

Platteville Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole course situated in the rolling hillsides of southwestern Wisconsin. The layout features a challenging design with distinctive characteristics shaped by the region's terrain. The front nine includes par fours, fives, and threes ranging from 132 to 592 yards across multiple tee boxes, with notable features including fairway bunkers, out-of-bounds areas, and heavily tree-lined driving zones. The back nine similarly incorporates strategic bunkering, elevation changes, and sloped greens.

The course is known for offering some of the best greens in southwestern Wisconsin—described as small, quick, and unique to the local terrain. Signature design elements include uphill approaches, back-to-front sloping greens, and dramatic elevation changes throughout both nines. The course presents a moderate to challenging difficulty level while remaining playable for various skill levels. Notable holes feature hazards such as water features, tree-lined fairways, and strategically positioned bunkers. The course hosts regular league play and multiple tournament outings throughout the season, including club championships and community events.
