Darlington Country Club has been serving the community since 1926 and is home to a challenging 18-hole golf course set along the picturesque Black Creek. The par-72 course spans 6,342 yards and features tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. The course underwent redesign of holes 15, 16, and 17 led by renowned golf architect Richard Mandell, bringing the course back to its 1926 origins. Located along Black Creek in rolling terrain, the club also features a newly renovated swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a traditional clubhouse. The course hosts the Southern 500 Golf Invitational, a historic amateur tournament won by Jon Weiss Jr. in 2025.
