Pine Hills Country Club is an 18-hole public golf course in Manorville, New York, designed by Roger Tooker and opened in 1972. The course stretches 7,132 yards and plays to a par of 73. The course sprawls across 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. Towering, mature pines line narrow fairways, creating a natural aesthetic that defines the course's character.
The course plays long at over 7,000 yards but is a playable and fair test, though it is challenging with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th, a dogleg left with water that features a green severely sloped from back to front. The course rating is 74.0 with a slope rating of 129.
Pine Hills is known for having one of the area's best public practice facilities, boasting a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.
