Persimmon Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect Arthur Hills, located in western Shelby County, approximately 25 minutes from Louisville International Airport and downtown Louisville. The course plays to 7,113 yards from the longest of five tee sets and features a traditional design with significant elevation changes of 120 feet throughout the round.

The layout navigates through natural terrain including woods, creeks, and lakes, leveraging the tract's existing contours to create challenging holes. Recognized as one of the most challenging courses in the region, Persimmon Ridge earned Golf Digest's "Outstanding Design" award in 2007 and was ranked #9 Best Golf Course in Kentucky in 2022.
