Peninsula Golf Course

Peninsula Golf Course is a traditional-style 9-hole course overlooking Lake Superior's shores, located in Marathon, Ontario. Designed in 1952 by world-renowned Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson, it represents his final design before his death in January 1953. Thompson created 178 courses throughout his celebrated career, making Peninsula Golf Course a historically significant layout.

The course offers a scenic setting with views of Lake Superior and features the terrain characteristic of the Ontario landscape. As a 9-hole traditional design, it provides an accessible yet enjoyable golfing experience for players of various skill levels.
