Peninsula Golf Course is a traditional-style 9-hole course overlooking Lake Superior's shores, located in Marathon, Ontario. Designed in 1952 by world-renowned Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson, it represents his final design before his death in January 1953. Thompson created 178 courses throughout his celebrated career, making Peninsula Golf Course a historically significant layout.
