Pelican Lakes Golf Course in Windsor, Colorado is an 18-hole championship course designed by Ted Robinson Sr., opened in July 1999. Stretching 7,264 yards, the course features over 300 surface acres of water, making it distinctive for having more shoreline than any other golf course in America. The Cache la Poudre River winds through the entire layout, while four man-made lakes come into play on 10 holes, creating a water-focused design that challenges golfers throughout their round.

Set within a residential development, the course is notable for having no homes directly on the fairways, preserving the natural landscape. The setting showcases spectacular native wildlife and natural terrain. In 2008, Pelican Lakes received recognition as "Best Public or Resort Course" by Colorado AvidGolfer Magazine, and earned a 4-star rating from Golf Digest Magazine in 2005. The front nine underwent a significant remodel completed in July 2014. The course is semi-private and operates as a resort facility, offering both public play and membership options.
