The Par 3 Challenge Course at Somabay Golf is a nine-hole facility located in Soma Bay, Egypt. Designed by Tim Lobb and James Edwards, the course was established in 2019 following the removal of a previous iteration of the course. It spans a total length of 1,239 yards and is built in accordance with the resort's sustainability vision. The layout is defined by its exclusive focus on approach shots, offering a succession of tees measured in yards to allow golfers to practice specific distances. This design allows players to hone their wedge play and approach game by creating every type of approach shot imaginable. The course is floodlit, enabling play during both day and night, which accommodates a range of activities from serious practice to casual rounds under the stars. The facility is open to all levels of golfers, from students looking to refine their skills to those seeking a casual nine-hole experience. Operating hours vary by season, with summer hours running from 7:00 am to 12:00 am and winter hours from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The course is part of the broader Somabay Golf complex, which also includes the Gary Player Course and the Hidden Coves Course.
