Papago Golf Club

Papago Golf Club is located in Phoenix, Arizona, nestled within Papago Park near the intersection of Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale, approximately two miles from Sky Harbor International Airport. The course was designed by William Francis (Billy) Bell, renowned for his work on San Diego's Torrey Pines, and exemplifies his philosophy of seamlessly blending courses with their natural surroundings.

The layout offers unrivaled views of the iconic Papago Buttes, Camelback Mountain, and the Downtown Phoenix skyline, set against the Arizona desert landscape. The course features dramatic desert terrain and natural beauty characteristic of the region.

Recently designated as the home course for Arizona State University's men's and women's golf teams, Papago has undergone modernization while maintaining its classic character. The 2018 renovations included the mid-century modern Lou Grubb Clubhouse with Lou's Bar & Grill and Evie's Pavilion for events.

The facility offers a practice area, hole-by-hole flyover, and scorecard information. Tournament play and group outings are available, along with junior rates and instruction programs. The course provides a complete golfing experience combining competitive play with scenic Arizona desert surroundings.
