Palm Aire Country Club features three championship courses: the Palms, Cypress, and Oaks. The Palms Course, originally founded in 1959 by George Palmer and Harold Broiler, was designed by William Mitchell and plays 6,944 yards at par-72 from the back tees. The Cypress Course, designed by Tom and George Fazio, measures 6,810 yards, par-72, while the Oaks Course also by Fazio plays 6,910 yards, par-71.
Located in Pompano Beach, Florida, the courses have established a distinguished history hosting prestigious tournaments including the Dixie Amateur, Florida Open, and the South Florida Classic PGA Tour event. Sam Snead recorded a course record 65 on the Palms in 1962. The facility has attracted notable golfers and celebrities throughout its history, including Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, and the New York Yankees during spring training.
All three courses present challenges for golfers of varying abilities and were recently renovated with TifEagle hybrid grass. The Palms and Cypress offer five sets of tee options, while the Oaks provides four sets. Palm Aire operates as a daily-fee facility with comprehensive amenities including two golf shops, two driving ranges, and a professional golf academy.
