Cypress Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in a 604-acre cypress preserve near Ruskin, Florida. The layout features six sets of tees with a championship rating of 73.1 and slope of 134, offering multiple difficulty options for players of varying skill levels. The course is notably challenging, with water hazards on 14 holes requiring strategic play throughout the round.

The setting distinguishes itself from typical Florida courses through natural undulation and immersion in the wildlife preserve, with residential development limited to only four or five holes. The course underwent significant renovation in 2016, installing Champion Bermuda grass on all greens and tee boxes—the premier Bermuda variety and only grass to host a PGA Tour Major Championship.

Key characteristics include firm, fast conditions maintained year-round and a demanding opening stretch, particularly the par-4 second hole at 432 yards playing uphill. Notable holes include the par-3 signature 13th, a 160-yard shot over water with a small green, and the par-5 14th, recognized as one of Tampa Bay's best driving holes. The closing stretch of holes 16-18 presents a formidable finish. The course is owned and operated by PGA Professionals.
