Palmerston Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole PGA championship course set in tropical surrounds near Darwin, Northern Territory. Originally constructed in 1995 and redesigned in 2005 by course designer Glenn Campbell, the par-71 layout features two contrasting nines divided by University Avenue. The front nine presents a stronger challenge with long fairways, demanding greens, and water hazards in play on six holes. The back nine is well-wooded, requiring accuracy off the tee and on approach shots. Both nines are framed by tall native trees and waterways, offering an interesting mix of hole lengths accessible to players of all standards. The course has hosted the Northern Territory PGA tournament since 2016. Beyond golf, the facility includes a bistro, sports bar with gaming options, and mini golf amenities, functioning as a public course welcoming both members and visitors.
