The Onahama Golf Course is a 18-hole, par-72 seaside course located in Onahama, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Situated within the Onahama Ocean Hotel & Golf Club, the layout is designed to offer expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby Terushima Island, which is designated as a national natural monument. The course was recognized in the U.S. Golf Digest’s "Best Golf Resorts in Asia 2019" list. The course is characterized by a distinct split in its playing style between the front and back nine. The outward nine is described as a relatively orthodox hillside course featuring undulations. In contrast, the inward nine presents a more demanding challenge, with holes that cross over the sea or run along the coastline, creating significant pressure for players despite the scenic beauty. Located in an area known for its mild climate, the course provides a seaside golfing experience that allows players to enjoy views of the ocean and the natural landscape of the Terushima area. The facility is accessible via a free shuttle bus from JR Izumi Station on the Joban Line, or by car from the Iwaki-Onahama, Iwaki-Mukae, or Iwaki-Yumoto interchanges on the Joban Expressway.
