Olde Mill Golf Club, located in Schoolcraft, Michigan, is an 18-hole course established in 1958. Originally opened as a 9-hole layout by Gil Stiver, the course was expanded to its current 18-hole design by Reggie Sauger, stretching 6,195 yards with a par of 72, a course rating of 69.2, and a slope rating of 117.
The course exemplifies classic Midwestern golf design, winding along Flowerfield Creek, which significantly impacts play throughout the layout. Water hazards feature prominently, particularly on the back nine with six water holes, complemented by two on the front. The front nine presents a tighter configuration, bordered by dense woodlands, while the back nine opens up more but exposes players to wind challenges. Strategically positioned sand traps throughout the course add additional difficulty.
Despite its listed yardage, the course plays considerably longer than scorecard distances suggest. Olde Mill Golf provides a challenging experience suitable for various skill levels, complemented by a driving range and practice green for pre-round preparation. The facility also features golf simulators, banquet facilities, and serves as a venue for events and tournaments.
