Located in a picturesque setting, the course is characterized by clearly defined water hazards and well-maintained putting greens. The terrain offers both relaxation for casual players and challenge for competitive golfers, making it suitable for players of varying skill levels. The course is particularly popular with beginners. Northridge operates seven days a week with no advance bookings required, allowing walk-up play. Green fees are affordable at NZD $20 Monday-Friday and $30 on weekends. In addition to traditional golf, the resort offers alternative formats including Frisbee (Disc) Golf and Fling Golf, both playable on the same course layout. The facility includes an on-site cafe serving refreshments and light meals, with beer and wine available for the "10th hole experience" after play.
