The course is proudly owned and operated by Northampton Township. The layout features tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and ponds, with slightly sloped greens.
The course features tree-lined fairways with gently sloped greens, water hazards on a few holes, and strategically-placed bunkers guarding the greens, while remaining player-friendly yet presenting risk-reward opportunities for better players. The par-5 7th hole at 530 yards from the back tees presents a signature risk-reward opportunity, with many long hitters attempting to reach the green in two. Northampton Valley is ranked as one of the best public courses in the Philadelphia area.
