New Richmond Golf Club is located 30 miles northeast of St. Paul in northwestern Wisconsin. The Old Course spans 173 acres and features a 6,713-yard layout with a slope rating of 136. The design incorporates scenic rolling landscape with mature trees, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers.

A defining characteristic is the Willow River, which winds through holes #4, #5, and #7—dubbed New Richmond's version of "Amen Corner." These holes provide the course's primary water challenges and most memorable sequences. The terrain combines enough sand, water, and mature trees to test golfers of varying skill levels while maintaining visual appeal through flowerbeds and carefully maintained turf.

The facility includes the Joe Swanda Learning Center, opened in 2007 and voted "Best Practice Facility" in Western Wisconsin. It features 32 hitting stations spanning 320 yards, an 8,000-square-foot putting green, a 4,000-square-foot putting green with practice bunker, and comprehensive practice amenities. The course accommodates public play and membership, operating for over 101 years and offering various leagues including men's, ladies', co-ed, junior, and senior divisions.
