Nevada County Country Club is a semi-private golf facility located in Grass Valley, California, nestled in the forested foothills of the Sierra Nevada at 2,500 feet elevation, approximately one hour northeast of Sacramento. The historic course features a regulation 9-hole layout designed by renowned architect Sam Whiting and opened in 1926, making it among the oldest courses in Northern California. The course is characterized by picturesque tree-lined fairways and small, challenging greens that demand precision play. Five distinct sets of tees accommodate various skill levels and provide multiple 18-hole routing options. The elevated Sierra Nevada setting offers scenic views and a forested mountain atmosphere. The course has hosted notable events including the NCCC Champions Cup and recently celebrated 100 years of operation.
