Naka Country Club is a 27-hole golf course located in Hitachiomiya, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Operated by Joso Kanko, the facility opened on October 18, 1977, and was designed by architect Yutaka Takamori. The course is situated on a hilly terrain that covers an area of 1.2 million square meters, yet it features a layout that is described as relatively flat despite the elevation changes. The property is accessible via the Mito North Smart IC on the Joban Expressway, approximately 18 minutes away, or from the Naka Interchange, about 15 kilometers distant. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops: the East, Middle, and West courses. Together, these loops provide a total yardage of 9,888 yards with a course rating of 70.5. The greens are maintained with bentgrass, offering a consistent playing surface for members and guests. The design accommodates a wide range of skill levels, with the club noting that the layout includes many gentle holes suitable for beginners while still providing enough challenge for experienced players. Situated centrally within Hitachiomiya, the club serves as a base for golf activities in the region. The facility includes a clubhouse with a lounge and restaurant that emphasizes seasonal menus using ingredients sourced from Ibaraki Prefecture. The course is designed to be reachable within approximately 90 minutes from the Tokyo metropolitan area, facilitating access for visitors from Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Tochigi.
