Operated by Joso Kanko, the facility opened on October 18, 1977, and was designed by architect Yutaka Takamori. The greens are maintained with bentgrass, offering a consistent playing surface for members and guests. The design accommodates a wide range of skill levels, with the club noting that the layout includes many gentle holes suitable for beginners while still providing enough challenge for experienced players. Situated centrally within Hitachiomiya, the club serves as a base for golf activities in the region. The facility includes a clubhouse with a lounge and restaurant that emphasizes seasonal menus using ingredients sourced from Ibaraki Prefecture. The course is designed to be reachable within approximately 90 minutes from the Tokyo metropolitan area, facilitating access for visitors from Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Tochigi.
