Located in Hitachi-Omiya, Ibaraki Prefecture, GOLF5 Country Sunny Field is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course spanning 7,148 yards. The layout is characterized by a flat terrain that emphasizes strategic play and aesthetic design. The course features an American-style configuration, incorporating fairways and ponds with minimal elevation changes to create a distinct playing environment. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, with Pete and Perry Dyke credited in the design details. The layout includes 57 grass bunkers covering 16,260 square meters and 71 sand bunkers covering 11,800 square meters. These elements are strategically placed throughout the course to enhance the American-style atmosphere and challenge the golfer's accuracy. GOLF5 Country Sunny Field has hosted significant professional events, including the 2019 Golf5 Ladies Professional Tournament and the Men's Third Qualifying Tournament. The course serves as a key venue for the Golf5 Ladies tour, with its sister course, Golf5 Country Mizunami, also hosting the 31st Golf5 Ladies Professional Tournament. The facility offers a driving range with 20 covered bays extending 300 yards, a bunker practice area, an approach practice ground, and a putting green that meet JGTO tournament standards.
