Mytton Fold Golf Club

Mytton Fold Golf Club is an 18-hole course situated in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, between Blackburn and Clitheroe, approximately 20 minutes from Preston or Chorley. Opened by Kenny Dalglish in 1994, the course measures 5,860 yards with a par of 70 and features slope ratings of 119-121 depending on tee selection.

The layout is set into hillside terrain, offering expansive undulating fairways and panoramic views across the Ribble Valley. The course presents a fair test for golfers of all abilities, requiring use of the full range of clubs. It comprises a variety of holes designed to challenge different playing standards.

The club offers 14 golf buggies with all-weather tracks throughout the course, accommodating both relaxed play and society visits. Mytton Fold hosts midweek and weekend competitions and maintains an active Senior Section meeting weekly. The club welcomes visitors and new members, fostering a friendly atmosphere. Taster sessions for beginners run seasonally from May to September, providing instruction in golf fundamentals, rules, and etiquette over four consecutive weeks.
