Murchison Golf Course

Murchison Golf Course is a 9-hole public golf course located 2 km north of Murchison on the Kawatiri Murchison Highway, adjacent to the Buller River. The course features a par 71 layout from the white tees (5,247 meters) and par 70 from the yellow tees (4,884 meters), with slope ratings of 109 and 115 respectively.

Set in a naturally scenic region, the course is characterized by its flat terrain that winds through the landscape, allowing players to experience the beauty of the surrounding Murchison area. The relaxed, informal atmosphere makes it welcoming to visitors and locals alike. The course is publicly accessible with green fees of $20 per day, available seven days a week.
