Mooipoort Gholf Club

Mooipoort Golf Club is an 18-hole boutique golf course located in Kameeldrift East, Roodeplaat, Pretoria. Designed by Ds. Japie Jacobs and established circa 1987, it is distinguished as the only 18-hole boutique golf course in Africa. The course features a compact layout with a length of 3,091 meters and a par of 60, making it notably shorter than regulation courses. Multiple tee boxes accommodate both men and ladies, with pin placements varying between back (red), middle (yellow), and front (white) positions, and marker placements for men (white) and ladies, seniors, and juniors (red). The course's intimate design and shorter yardage create an accessible yet challenging golfing experience. The club changed ownership in March 2008 and continues to serve as a unique golfing destination in the region, offering a distinctive alternative to traditional 18-hole championship courses.
