Monkstown Golf Club, established in 1908, is an 18-hole championship course located in Parkgarriff, County Cork, overlooking Cork Harbour. The course offers scenic views across the harbour and features a variety of tees to accommodate different skill levels, providing a fair but testing round of golf.

A notable feature is the Par 3 6th hole, which was designed by legendary golf architect Alastair MacKenzie during a visit to Cork. The course evolved from its original 9-hole layout to become one of the foremost 18-hole clubs in Munster, maintained in top condition by head greenkeeper Martin Travers and his staff.

The club's facilities are comprehensive, including a quality pro shop managed by former Irish International Cian McNamara, a state-of-the-art driving range with Trackman technology, and a dedicated short game practice area featuring chipping, bunker play, and putting greens. The clubhouse includes a highly regarded bar and restaurant. Monkstown is known for its warm welcome to visitors and strong membership care, with a rich history dating back to its origins at a 17th-century castle that formerly served as the clubhouse.
