Mohican Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Jeromesville, Ohio in Ashland County. The course was designed by Jack Kidwell and opened in 1972. It measures 6,591 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, with a course rating of 71.2 and a slope rating of 124. Originally a nine-hole design, the back nine opened in the spring of 1976.
The course is plotted along the rolling hills of Ashland County and carved out of the Ohio countryside. The course features picturesque views with four sets of tees accommodating players of all levels. The front nine greens are large and undulating, while the smaller back nine greens require more accurate shot selection. The golf course has 18 large strategically placed bunkers throughout the course.
The 12th hole, a par 4 of 376 yards, is the course's most scenic hole, featuring a 100 foot elevation drop from tee to green. This Golf Digest 4-star course was designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan, both of whom are renowned Columbus-based course architects.
