Miyazaki Public Golf is a nine-hole course located in Miyazaki City, situated approximately 10 minutes by car from Miyazaki Airport and 15 minutes from the Miyazaki Interchange. The facility sits on a 200,000-square-meter site along the coastal route toward Aoshima, offering a layout that is described as flat yet varied. Designed by Tokuyuki Miki and opened in October 1977, the course is characterized by fairways separated by pine trees, a feature intended to provide strategic options for players ranging from beginners to veterans. The course totals 5,684 yards with a par of 72. The front nine measures 2,851 yards for a par 36, while the back nine runs 2,833 yards, also for a par 36. The layout includes three par-3s, five par-4s, and one par-5 on each nine. The longest hole is the 8th, a 507-yard par-5, while the shortest is the 5th, a 120-yard par-3. The greens are maintained as Korean bentgrass. The course is designed to be accessible, with minimal elevation changes and gentle fairways that allow for different playing strategies depending on the tee position. This design philosophy targets both novice golfers and experienced players looking for a relaxed round. The facility operates as a public course, accepting major credit cards including JCB, VISA, NICOS, AMEX, and MasterCard.
