Located in Mibu, Tochigi Prefecture, Miyanomori Country Club is a 18-hole, par 72 course designed by Akira Sato. Opened in September 1991, the layout is classified as a forest-style course, characterized by its wooded setting and two-tone green configuration. The front nine measures 3,552 yards from the back tees, while the back nine runs for 3,442 yards, creating a total yardage of 6,994 yards. The course features a two-green system, with the A greens yielding a course rating of 72.6 and the B greens rating at 71.3. The front nine presents a mix of straight and dogleg holes that test accuracy off the tee. The opening first hole is a 554-yard par 5 that requires a precise drive to avoid left-side out-of-bounds, while the fifth hole is a demanding 432-yard par 4 where the second shot plays uphill. The eighth hole, a 204-yard par 3, is marked as a recommended pin-seeker, with out-of-bounds guarding the right side and a penalty for going over the green. The ninth hole serves as a strategic par 4, featuring a water hazard that comes into play for shots from the regular tees, with drop areas available for recovery. The back nine continues the challenge with significant length on the par 5s. The eleventh hole is a 551-yard par 5 recommended for driving contests, requiring careful navigation to reach the green in regulation. The fourteenth hole is a unique 162-yard par 3 that plays significantly shorter from the back tees, offering a distinct test for approach shots. The eighteenth hole closes the round as a 543-yard par 5, demanding distance and accuracy to finish. The course is equipped with 50 five-person carts and fairways that range from 51 to 70 yards in width, allowing for a full cart round.
