Mineral Mound State Park

The Cullan at Mineral Mound is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course located on the shores of Lake Barkley near Eddyville, Kentucky. Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, the course features a challenging layout that balances playability for all skill levels with strategic design elements. The front nine holes offer scenic lake views, while the back nine wind through wooded terrain with mature trees framing many holes. The course is characterized by generous fairways, strategically placed bunkers that have been recently renovated, and well-protected greens. Natural elevation changes created by the land's contours add variety and visual interest throughout the round. Set against rolling terrain, The Cullan provides a memorable golfing experience in a peaceful setting historically linked to author F. Scott Fitzgerald. The course operates year-round weather permitting, with a pro shop offering cart and club rentals plus food and beverages. It is frequently paired with nearby Kentucky Dam Village State Park Golf Course for multi-course golf packages.
