Mesquite Municipal Golf Course ☆ Follow

Mesquite Golf Club is a municipal course owned and operated by the City of Mesquite, located in the Duck Creek floodplain and originally built in the 1960s by Leon Howard as a 9-hole course before expanding to 18 holes two years later on 154 acres. Following city resumption of operations in the 2010s, the course underwent a massive renovation in 2013 that expanded it from 6,100 yards to 6,980 yards and added Champion Bermuda greens and 20 new bunkers. The course is an 18-hole, par 71 layout stretching 6,885 yards with tree-lined fairways and a design that provides challenging play for golfers of all skill levels. The renovations made the course more challenging while maintaining multiple tee locations to accommodate various skill levels. The course reopened in 2014 and was named Course of the Year by the Texas Turfgrass Association.
