The Medal of Honor Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located at Quantico, Virginia. Originally established in 1930 as a six-hole layout built by Marine Corps construction personnel, the course expanded to nine holes around 1934 and reached its current 18-hole configuration in the mid-1940s. The course was renamed in 1980 to honor Marines who have earned the Medal of Honor. Ernest Stanley, Superintendent from 1933 to 1976, led much of the course's development and expansion.
The course operates year-round and serves Active Duty and Retired Military, DoD civilian employees, family members, and the general public. Amenities include a state-of-the-art Swing Lab training facility featuring advanced diagnostic equipment, a lighted driving range, practice putting green, and a Pro-Shop. The clubhouse and grounds accommodate daily play, outings, and private functions. The Swing Lab offers comprehensive services including high-tech swing analysis, club fitting, golf lessons, and TruGolf simulator rentals, utilizing professional-grade equipment and PGA Professional instruction to help golfers improve their performance.
