Meadowbrook Golf Course is an 18-hole championship parkland-style course located in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the foot of the Black Hills, approximately 23 miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Designed by David Gill, the course stretches over 6,900 yards and features classic parkland aesthetics with cottonwood, spruce, pine, and apple trees throughout the layout.
Water is a significant design element, with Rapid Creek winding through the property and coming into play on nine holes. The course presents a moderate challenge with its tree-lined fairways and strategic water hazards.
Meadowbrook has earned recognition as the "Black Hills Best" golf course according to the Rapid City Journal Reader's Choice Awards in 2012 and 2013. The course has hosted several notable championships, including the 1984 USGA Women's Public Links Championship and the 2009 and 2010 NAIA College Women's National Golf Championships. The facility serves as a popular destination for public play, outings, and tournaments in the Rapid City area.
