Meadow Park Golf Course is a public municipal facility located in South Tacoma, Washington, featuring a 27-hole layout comprised of an 18-hole Championship Course and a 9-hole Williams Course. Designed by renowned architect John Ball and opened in 1915, it stands as one of the region's oldest golf facilities. The course is situated within the city limits on its original 165-acre site, providing a natural setting accessible by both traditional golf carts and single-rider carts for those needing accommodation. Notable for its historical significance as Tacoma's first public golf course and the region's first to welcome women golfers without day restrictions, Meadow Park has maintained its egalitarian philosophy for over a century.
