Maxwell Golf Course

Maxwell Golf Course is a public golf course located just south of downtown Abilene, Texas, minutes from Interstate 20. The course was designed with the average golfer in mind, offering an accessible yet enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The facility maintains the course in excellent condition and is situated in a convenient location for local golfers.

Recent improvements have enhanced the Maxwell experience, including an upgraded driving range with new target greens that allow golfers to practice off either grass or mats, along with new range balls. The course is currently under the direction of Director of Golf Operations Guy Bailey, who has overseen these facility upgrades.

Maxwell Golf Course offers various amenities including lessons, club fitting and repair services, and hosts regular tournaments and events such as a Tuesday night scramble. The facility features membership options and maintains competitive rates for public play. The pro shop provides equipment and services for golfers, supporting both casual rounds and organized competitions.
