Diamondback Golf Club

Diamondback National Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located in Abilene, Texas, that opened on November 1, 1999. Designed and operated by 1971 Masters Champion Charles Coody, the course was developed with the goal of providing a high-quality facility accessible to golfers of all skill levels. The course features lush landscapes and meticulously maintained fairways set in rolling terrain that many visitors compare to the famous Hill Country region, despite its West Texas location. The facility includes a pro shop stocked with modern golf equipment, a driving range open until late hours for practice, and professional instruction available from experienced golf instructors. Diamondback National hosts a variety of tournaments and events throughout the year, including annual amateur and professional competitions, corporate outings, group events, and charity fundraising tournaments. The club is committed to course maintenance and customer service, with operations from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and closed Mondays for course upkeep.
