Marlay Golf Course is a nine-hole, par-three golf course that was reopened in 2010 after redesign and rebuild. The course is located at Marlay Park, College Rd., Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. Lying about nine kilometres from Dublin city centre, the parkland comprises woodlands, ponds and walks. The routing allows most holes to play downhill instead of uphill, with state of the art technology and the latest generation of synthetic grasses used to create its greens and tees, making it playable all year round.
Thanks to the installation of 20,000 metres of gravel slits, 3,600 metres of perforated drainage pipe, 63 catch basins and two lakes, the course will never close due to frost or water-logging. It is Ireland's first all-weather golf course. Superb greens, an idyllic setting and variety of holes make Marlay Park the perfect venue to hone or nurture your golfing skills. The course serves as a public facility for golfers of all skill levels within the 121-hectare Marlay Park.
